The fuel tank that was on the Honda was the original metal tank with rust on the inside. I ordered this plastic gas tank thinking that it would be a perfect fit up into the rubber garments on the frame. The underside of the tank was about 2 inches too wide. In about 1 inch too short. Fortunately the rear mounting holes and screw back at lined up perfectly. It is secure but not into the slots in the front as it should have been. If you plan to buy replacement fuel tank for your Honda make sure that you measure and compare against the dimensions that’s being sold to you
