Note:
Before installing your new stator regulator rectifier;
Check the AC output of the stator.
Replace any burned or corroded connectors on stator and regulator/rectifier.
Check and repair any melted wiring.
Use hi-temp dielectric grease on all connectors.
Our stator / regulator may use a different wire color code than your original.
All of the wires are installed in the correct order; please do not change any of the wiring configurations.
This stator is designed as a direct plug-in replacement and should be used as such.
When bolting stator in, always use locking compound.
If our stator includes a pickup coil, always make sure the air gap is correct upon installation.

Wired...
Despite the disruption specifically saying wires do not need to be changed, the wires to the pick up (trigger) coil needed to be swapped to correct ignition timing. Installed as it was it would spark, but ignition timing (not mechanically adjustable on this unit) was too far off to start. Backfired and popped out of the carb. After much wasted time in troubleshooting, and a knolage of how "polarity" of a trigger coil can affect timing, I swapped the wires in the plug and the unit fired up great and runs flawlessly. I should be due a full refund to pay back my lost labor due to the problem with this "plug and play" stator.
