Note:
Before installing your new stator regulator rectifier;
Check the AC output of the stator.
Replace any burned or corroded connectors on stator and regulator/rectifier.
Check and repair any melted wiring.
Use hi-temp dielectric grease on all connectors.
Our stator / regulator may use a different wire color code than your original.
All of the wires are installed in the correct order; please do not change any of the wiring configurations.
This stator is designed as a direct plug-in replacement and should be used as such.
When bolting stator in, always use locking compound.
If our stator includes a pickup coil, always make sure the air gap is correct upon installation.

Stator, Regulator and Gasket...
I got these installed and everything went in well. I had to remove the clip holding the wires onto the stator body due to fitment issues. The cord clip was not in the same place relative to the three bolt holes that secure the stator to the housing as the OEM stator I pulled out. There weren't any instructions that I saw in the box either, but Youtube was very helpful for that. When first putting the housing and stator on the bike it wouldn't slide on because I hadn't routed the wires between the stator coils. Once I did that everything went on great. I've done a couple of shorter rides to and from work and everything seems to work as normal with no oil leads from teh gasket. I did use a thin layer of grey RTV on both sides of the gasket.
