This stator has a controlled output whch regulates voltage to prevent damage to the original cdi/HT coil.
The alternator output can be connected the same as the original stator from direct AC lighting using the original regulator (or optional RG12 - see related products below).
The alternator also has the capability of being connected to a 3 phase regulator/rectifier such as our optional RR17 high power 200w DC supply.

Before installing your new stator
Check the AC output of the stator.
Replace any burned or corroded connectors on stator and regulator/rectifier.
Check and repair any melted wiring.
Use hi-temp dielectric grease on all connectors
Our stator may use a different wire color code than your original.
All of the wires are installed in the correct order; please do not change any of the wiring configurations.
This stator is designed as a direct plug-in replacement and should be used as such.
When bolting stator in, always use locking compound.
If our stator includes a pickup coil, always make sure the air gap is correct upon installation.
All item pictures are accurate; if in doubt do not hesitate to compare our item to your original part.

Backing plate does not fit 87 Husqvarna 510TE and...
The base plate for this stator doesn't fit TE 87 510, even though it was clearly labels as such. Waste of money in my case. Also the stator hits the flywheel, when placed on the original plate.
