This listing is for 1 Ford BIG BLOCK Oil Filter insert. This is for the 385 series engines (460, etc).
This part does NOT FIT FE series big block Ford engines such as the 390 and 427.
This item threads into the engine block, and the oil filter then threads onto it. These are perfect for replacing damaged units, or deleting an oil cooler.
Tech Tip: Unlike the oddball 11mm Allen wrench the Ford part requires for installation, ours is 1/2" hex. Simply use a 1/2" bolt (like an intake bolt off of almost every Small Block Ford), thread a nut onto it, and turn it in with a 1/2" wrench. Easy!

Adapter
The threads on the side that the filter screws on was not cut correctly had to get another one from a different company.

Defective...
It took me a long time to fix the oil filter side , it seems they shaped the hex drive in the adapter after the threads were cut engine side was fine but the oil filter side was not get in any oil filter screeed on , the 6 points of the hex is where the new threads had to be cut , outside threads were also hex from the factory , so get after them guys , thx Greg’s garage
