Excellent handbrake after repairing...
This handbrake would cause my wheel to disconnect randomly out of the box. It seemed to happen more often after using it, but would randomly disconnect with no contact at all. It worked perfectly when it did work though. I removed the top panel and controller board (2 screws) from the handbrake and plugged it in that way. No problems with disconnecting. This made me scrutinize the wiring on that board. While everything looked pretty good, reinstallation revealed that the power on/off plunger had a wire that was coming in contact with the metal frame. I insulated the wires with some black electrical tape on both the metal frame immediately behind the controller and a small wrap of tape over both plunger wires. After that, no more problems. Works perfectly in GT7 on a PS5 with G29 wheel switched to "PS4" mode.

Not actually progressive…?
Overall I think this handbrake is pretty awesome! It especially impressed me because it’s the first system I have found that works flawlessly with my Logitech G29 setup and has no actual issues. The only problem I have with this is that it claims to be a progressive handbrake… meaning the more pressure I apply to the lever the more brake it applies to the game brake… that is not the case here. I am using this with my PS5 on GranTurismo7, WRC Generations, and WRC 2023. All 3 games allow the brake to work, but it’s only 0% or 100% pressure which is not what progressive means. Also there was a good bit of squeak and clunkiness Where the lever and actuator connecting pin meet so I wrapped it with electrical tape and removed the sound and slop. Easy fix for a drastic improvement. Still happy with the purchase, price, most of the performance, and quality, but I do feel like I got jipped a bit.

The only PS4 compatible hand brake I have found. Plug your Logitech setup into the hand brake, and plug the hand brake into the PS4. I've been using it for games like GT sport and Driveclub. It works great. Makes my sim feel like a real drift car in GT7 sport in VR. It helps in drifting and rally races alot! Thank you mad hornets

Very happy with the product so far. It seems to be made very well and feels almost like a real hydraulic brake. Set-up is simple and in a way makes it easier to keep the mess of wires under control. Definitely worth the money if you’re looking to gain an edge in any rally or drifting sim!

Works well, plug G29 into handbrake and handbrake into Playstation 4/5 console turn on with red button. Game changer on Dirt Rally, WRC10, GT Sport And Gran Turismo 7 and Assetto Corsa. Automatically uses "Circle" as default. Having a blast, support this company for finally coming out with a console ebrake. It's about DANG TIME! Many Thanks!! - SilentWarrior116

Beautiful product sturdy construction. Some minor issues but Mad Hornets stood behind their product. Very good company with great communication . I would highly recommend them again.
