I needed a new spare tire hanger for my 2003 Toyota 4Runner. I got the part quickly and noticed it was a different style than the original part. I got original part off and realized new part was different enough to either need modification or not work like the original. Specifically the bolts that hold on the hanger don’t line up so only 2 bolts instead of 4 line up. Then there is the plate that holds up the wheel. The plate is too long to work with the factory rim. I’ll need to grind off part of the plate or replace it with one the same length. This is why I’m giving it 3 stars.
